Distance in Kanchanaburi

I love living in busy Bangkokj but sometimes it's nice to get away to the beach or moutains of Thailand.

So this past weekend, I packed my bags and headed to Kanchanaburi, a small town located about two hours Northwest of Bangkok. This beautiful town is well known for it's involvement in WWII. There one can visit the world famous "Death Railway" and "Bridge over the River Kwai". While in Kanchanaburi, I drove a motorbike for the first time to Erawan Waterfalls. Then, I biked through the city exploring different caves and temples. I put together a short two minute visual of my trip, hope you enjoy.

Alive and Well

Hello / Sawasdee / สวัสดี

It’s been about two and half months since I arrived in Thailand. It's crazy to think that summer in America is basically over.

So far on this journey, I have discovered so many amazing things about myself and the world around me. I can’t wait to share my experience with you through blogging, video and photos (shout out to the 21st century).

Working abroad and traveling is not only a big adventure but a chance for me to get uncomfortable. “What do you mean by uncomfortable Monnie?”

Packing my bags and relocating to a foreign country allowed me to get outside of my comfort zone and better understand my boundaries and limitations. I don’t want to bore you with all the logistics right now. Just know that I'm on a journey to break down all my old social programming to evolve and grow into the best version of myself.... stay tuned xoxo
